eSIM is the current game changer in wireless technology of the world. Traditional SIM card was got replaced by the introduction of eSIM.
If you are going to update your phone into eSIM, be sure the phone built for it. To use an eSIM, your device must be carrier-unlocked and eSIM-compatible. (Note that country and carrier-specific restrictions may apply.)* Here giving the latest list of eSIM supporting phones
The list of eSIM-compatible devices as of September 2024 includes the following:
*The following Apple devices lack eSIM capability:
iPhone devices from Mainland China
iPhone devices from Hong Kong and Macao, except for the iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone SE 2020, and iPhone XS
*Only iPad devices with Wi-Fi + Cellular features are compatible with eSIM.
*For iPhones and iPads purchased in Turkey:
If you set up your device after June 23, 2020, your eSIM will activate automatically upon installation. Contact your carrier if eSIM is not enabled.
*eSIM capability is not available on the following Samsung Galaxy devices:
All Galaxy devices originating from China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan
All Galaxy FE "Fan Edition" models
AUA models of the Galaxy S20, S21*, and Note 20 Ultra
*Only iPad devices with Wi-Fi + Cellular features are compatible with eSIM.
*In South Korea, most Samsung devices do not support eSIMs, except for the Galaxy S23, S23+, S23 Ultra, Z Flip4, and Z Fold4.
*Samsung Galaxy S21 series devices from Canada and the AUA (excluding FE models) may have eSIM capability if the One UI 4 update is installed. To confirm whether your Samsung device is eSIM-capable, please contact your carrier or device manufacturer.
*Please reach out to your carrier or device manufacturer to confirm if your Xiaomi device supports eSIM, as eSIM availability can vary depending on the country/region and carrier.
*eSIM capability is not available on the following Google Pixel devices:
Pixel 3 models originating from Australia, Taiwan, and Japan, as well as those purchased with service from AU or Canadian carriers other than Sprint and Google Fi.
Pixel 3a models purchased in South East Asia and with Verizon service.
*Confirm whether your Nokia device has eSIM capability by contacting your carrier or device manufacturer, as eSIM support may be limited to specific regions.
*eSIM capability is not available on the following Google Pixel devices:
